Should the animals be used for scientific research? Is it humanly?
Animal testing has been a very controversial topic from the very beginning, people just cannot accept the fact that animals are involved into this, why testing on animals could be such an useful activity and also, at the same time, very painful and worthless for some people. As my resources say: "there are live animal experiments authorized and around the world, animals are now used as objects of experiments, to test a variety of products, such as shoes, bags and other kinds of clothes". Well I am close to explain why some people are against and some other people in favor.
A variety of test on animals has been very useful for medicine, my sources say that " it is a fact that scientists use this animals to experiment on them they consider them as a help for human being, animal testing is basically making use of animals in experiments carried out for the betterment of human lives " (Batul Nafixa Baxamusa), for example, chimpanzees shares almost the same DNA as humans, so the science could work on this animals to experiment diseases or almost any kind of problem that human are suffering this days, these animal experiments are carried out by universities, pharmaceutical companies and even by students and researchers at medical schools.
Another reason that people could be in favor with this is because also by experimenting on animals we know that already is helping humans but also it is helping animals, his helps the scientists find a cure for certain diseases by studying these animals, for example in veterinary medicine, animal surgeries, animal antibiotics, etc. Some tests as researches on animals have today helped to saving the lives of many dogs. Animal research has also provided better understanding of cat nutrition and the reasons about why cats live longer and remain healthier.
Besides these pros with animal experiments, are also cons and the very important fact for people could be the pain and suffer for this animals’ life, I have been researching and I found that, the animal testing, makes these animals afraid to lose their lives and also, I found, that many lives and herds are lost because of these kind of tests, just because the humans like to wear all kind of animal skins on their body. I think it is better understood if the reason for killing animals it for food, is not that attractive for most of the people but it is our nature, but so many people think that it is just not fair to make test on animals that are alive, because they suffer the pain of being mistreated and just because like we, the humans, they have feelings too.
The animal tests help minimize the chances of human death during, at the same time they are saving pharmaceutical and medical organizations millions of dollars in compensation. Also, animals, like mice and rabbits, reproduce very quickly, in conclusion animal testing helps saves lives of millions of humans, but also , thousands of these animals lose their lives. You can see the both sides of this fact but think about this: animal experiment gives the researchers a chance to see the effects of the experiments too, but I do not agree with the animal suffering and treating them like the nowadays society says “as animals”, because after all plants, animals and humans are all living beings.
