MYSELF
My name is Christian Moisés Quiroz Escalera, I was born in Aguascalientes in 1990 on May 10th, and so I’m 20 years old. I am a tall and thin boy. What I like to eat is Italian and Mexican food, about sports, I love basketball and swimming more than everything. I have one brother older than me. Also, I listen to music so loud, I love movies, videogames and TV series. My favorite animal is the polar bear and also I like dogs. I am a student from the UAA and I work from Monday to Friday in a beer store 4 hours a day.
About things in my past, my really good experiences were when I was in junior-high school, I had a lot of fun, and because there were not as many as responsibilities I have now. I played basketball at school almost everyday; I used to love my classes, especially the art class because that was the only class that kept me motivated. When I was eleven years old, I started to like music, then a couple of years that I started to translate the songs that I noticed that I liked English. Then I went to Harmon Hall and started to study the English language. I traveled to the beach sometimes, but the beach I like the most was Puerto Vallarta, I like it because the sea was clean and the hotel was very nice and comfortable. The last time I had a lot of good memories regarding I was there.
Right now, I really enjoy my life, I play guitar every time I can, I like punk rock music and metal music, actually I am in a rock band right now, and we play alternative rock. My job in that band is to do second vocals and to play rhythm guitar, we play in bars or events when people hire us. I love to go to the movies, most of the time I watch a movie is with my girlfriend, because we love it. Also I go out with friends, play videogames, do sports or just pass the time. I am studying English Language Teaching in the UAA, I am in third semester and I like the BA very much but sometimes I get bored in some classes that did not catch my attention.
My future planning activities are to travel to another country where English language is spoken, maybe England because I like the accent and that is the country that I would love to go the most. Also I want to finish my BA in ELT and start to do an MA, but I’m not sure yet about what kind of MA I want to do, I need to start to thinking about it.
I do not like to complain about my life because I have wonderful times and I do not get bored. I know there is going to be more than this and better moments for me. So I think that is it, that is my life and I think I am like every boy in the world, who has friends that is studying, etc. but most the most amazing thing, my girlfriend that I love so much.
